I have eliminated some of the problems with the script, obviously both google and yahoo’s limits still stand and that is out of my control but with some small modifications I have enhanced the script so fewer requests to these two search engines are required although with our traffic they are still being reached.
I am going to watch the scripts performance over the next few days/weeks before I decide what to do, I might readvertise the script for sale to a limited number or I might just sell the site for a one off payment and concentrate on other projects.
Feel free to email me at sales at cgiscripts4u.com if you are interested in either the script or the site as a whole, note that the site as a whole will not be cheap due to the earnings it is currently returning.

I am afraid to say there has been a change of plan on idea of selling the script behind Yzoo.co.uk
Why you ask? well the script/site was initially written as a project/excersise and I never invisaged getting the traffic that the site is getting and never really planned to sell the script.

I have decided to sell the script that we wrote for Yzoo.co.uk
We will only be selling a limited number so not to find every other site is a MetaCrawler.
Visit the MetaCrawler Script web site for details and requirements.
I must add that, although we are not allowed to discuss our Adsense earnings in detail, in the first month we earned very little from adsense on this site, for two main reasons, we where still tweaking the site/script making it more ‘Crawler’ friendly and it takes a few weeks (two in our case) for the Search engines to crawl the site. However in the 2nd month of the site being live, our adsense earnings exceeded the price we are selling the script for and the cost of the dedicated server we have. So far this month (November 2006) our average daily earnings are twice that of last months average daily earnings.
