Earlier in the year I wrote about how I had to Block Opera Mini

At the time they never responded to me about my decission apart from their initial response say that they would investigate it. Now 6 months on and as many of you know I changed servers for the site, but in my haste to get everything up and running smoothly I forgot to block the Opera Mini IP range on the new servers, and guess what, yep they started hammering the site again with over 1000 hits an hour.

This proves to me that they have not fixed the problem and probably didn’t even investigate it, as far as I can see they are stealling my site content, they are probably monetizing it with ads although I can not confirm that so I have yet again been forced to block the Opera Mini IP range. It’s so sad that these people have to use such archaic methods that could bring a web site to its knees.
