PayPerPost

October 2nd, 2007 by Greg

Last Tuesday I registered with Pay Per Post which allows bloggers to write an independent review of a website, product or service etc and earn a few dollars in the process.

The idea is simple, bloggers register their blog which is then reviewed to ensure it meets with their criteria. If your blog doesn’t you can still use the service but only when an ‘Advertiser’ specifically requests you to blog about what they are offering, if you blog does meet the Pay Per Post criteria then you can also select reviews from the ‘Market Place’. Once you have blogged a review that is first reviewed when posted to your blog and then reviewed again 30 days later and then at this point you are paid.

As I say, I registered last Tuesday, a full week ago and I am still waiting for this blog to be reviewed. This does raise concerns, if they are taking a week or more to reveiw the blogs, how long will it take for them to review the posts and pay you?

When I contacted them on Friday they did inform me that it normally takes 5 days to review a blog but they are a bit behind at the moment. Fine but then why did a colleage of mine then apply yesturday morning and have his blog reviewed and get a decision yesterday evening, less than 24 hours? Obviously blogs are not reviewed on a first come first served basis, so how are they reviewed?

Hopefully if Payperpost do ever review this blog they will read this post and comment on it.
