A couple of weeks ago I wrote that the yzoo script will become available soon. Un paio di settimane fa ho scritto che la yzoo script saranno disponibili a breve.

Well we have decided to sell the script as a site rather than on it’s own for the time being. I am not going to name them of give the urls but I am getting pissed off with proxy servers that Google and other big search engines insist on indexing. Non ho intenzione di nome di dare loro gli url ma sono sempre pissed off, con i server proxy che Google e gli altri grandi motori di ricerca insistere su indicizzazione. They are a nightmare. Essi sono un incubo.

Recently I discovered one such proxy server that has 1500 pages indexed in Google, about 90% of them are actually dynamic copies of Yzoo.co.uk and it’s related sites. Recentemente ho scoperto uno di questi server proxy che ha 1500 pagine indicizzate in Google, circa il 90% di essi sono in realtà dinamica copie di Yzoo.co.uk ed è siti correlati. Why is this a problem? Perché questo è un problema?

1. They somehow tend to get listed in the SERPs higher than the original content, bringing less visitors to the real site. Che in qualche modo tendono a ottenere elencati nella SERPs superiori ai contenuti originali, portando meno visitatori del sito reale.

2. The search engines appear to be comparing the proxy and original site and treating the original as having duplicate content and then removing it from the SERPs. 3. The proxy servers tend to remove all javascript code etc from the page, basically disabling ads being displayed such as adsense and then they place their own ads on the page, stealling ad revenue from the original site. How can this problem be resolved, well first and most importantly the big Search engines should not even index these proxy servers, it would not be hard for them to do as there are give away signs in the urls of these sites. Come può il problema da risolvere, ben prima e più importante dei grandi motori di ricerca non dovrebbe anche indice di questi server proxy, non sarebbe difficile per loro di fare come vi sono dare segni di cui l'URL di questi siti.

As a webmaster you can redirect proxy server users to a ‘forbidden’ error message or a specific page informing them the site is not available via that proxy, but that takes time, you need to find the IP addresses of the Proxy servers and these can be changed easily by the proxy owners so you need to be ontop of it. Come un webmaster è possibile reindirizzare gli utenti del server proxy ad un 'vietato' messaggio di errore o di una specifica pagina di loro il sito non è disponibile tramite proxy che, ma che richiede tempo, è necessario trovare gli indirizzi IP dei server proxy e questi possono essere cambiato facilmente con il proxy in modo che i proprietari devono essere OnTop di esso.

We have had requests for this in the past and have always declined, but it appears now that it is the right time to do so. In the end I sent a screenshot of my Google analytics showing my traffic sources to Adbrite and I got a response from them a day or so later saying that they have reinstated my account. Earnings are far lower than Bidvertiser so I may just stick with them and direct advertising. Yesterday Adbrite asked me for the log files of the site to verify if the click fraud, I asked them which log files they required as the server only stores the past 4 days logs and each days log file is about 80mb in size when compressed. Adbrite ieri mi ha chiesto per i file di log del sito per verificare se i clic fraudolenti, ho chiesto loro che i file di log essi richiesta come il server solo i negozi ultimi 4 giorni log e ogni giorno file di log è di circa 80 MB di dimensioni quando compresso.

They replied asking me to send screen shots of logs prior to 29th April. Essi hanno risposto mi chiede di inviare le immagini di schermate prima di log al 29 aprile. Are they real? I received an email from adbrite yesterday informing me that click fraud has been identified on our site and as such the site can has been disabled. Ho ricevuto una email da adbrite ieri mi ha informato che fare clic su frode è stato individuato sul nostro sito e, come tale, il sito è stato disattivato.

I am sure this is the same problem as with Bidvertiser a  few days ago but when replying to the Adbrite email address ( support@adbrite.com ) it bounced, I tried from numerous email accounts and they all had the same problem. Io sono sicuro che questo sia lo stesso problema con Bidvertiser come pochi giorni fa, ma quando la risposta a una Adbrite indirizzo di posta elettronica (support@adbrite.com) è tornato indietro, ho provato da numerosi account di posta elettronica e che tutti hanno avuto lo stesso problema. In the end I had to use the online form in the hope that they will be able to resolve the issue just as bidvertiser have. Alla fine ho dovuto usare il modulo online nella speranza che essi saranno in grado di risolvere il problema così come hanno bidvertiser.

OK its been over a week now since we implemented Bidvertiser and adsdaq, and adbrite since, and out of the three Adsdaq is performing the worse, in fact we’re lucky if it hits $1/day so we are dropping the Adsdaq network advertising from the site. We have also moved away from OpenX to serve our direct advertising because of the lack of ’self registration’ for advertisers which was, in our opinion a major flaw. As a followup to my post a few days ago Google doing click fraud themselves I looked into it a bit more and it appears the IP addresses in question may be from  Google services such as Google Translate etc so I contacted Bidvertiser as many of the site users use the translate service provided by Google so I do not want these users banned from seeing the bidvertiser ads. Come un seguito adjectival forma al mio post di pochi giorni fa Google facendo clic fraudolenti stessi ho guardato in essa un po 'di più e sembra gli indirizzi IP in questione possono essere da Google come ad esempio i servizi di Google Translate etc così ho contattato Bidvertiser come molti degli utenti del sito utilizzare il servizio di traduzione forniti da Google in modo non voglio che questi utenti divieto di vedere la bidvertiser annunci.

I was pleasentley surprised when I got a response from Bidvertiser within 24 hours confirming that they would lift the ban on the Google IP addresses within the next 24 hours.  This is far better support/service then you would ever get from Google.  Well done Bidvertiser. Pleasentley mi è stato sorpreso quando ho ricevuto una risposta da parte Bidvertiser entro 24 ore il che conferma che si sarebbero revocare il divieto di Google indirizzi IP entro le prossime 24 ore. Questa è di gran lunga migliore supporto / servizio si può sempre ottenere da Google. Well done Bidvertiser .

The ads are not context so any ad will appear on any page but ads can be geotargetted enabling advertisers to target ads towards specific regions if necessary.
